Gli Autori riportano i risultati a breve termine del trattamento di stabilizzazione percutanea mini-invasiva con viti peduncolari in pazienti affetti da metastasi vertebrale o da mieloma multiplo. Particolare risalto, viene dato alla bassa morbidità perioperatoria di questa metodica a fronte di un buon risultato funzionale nell’ottica di un trattamento multidisciplinare di questi pazienti.

The Authors describe the results of the surgical percutaneous fixation and stabilization with minimally invasive technique in the treatment of patient with vertebral metastases or multiple myeloma.
The results show that this procedure is adequate and satisfactory to be used in specific patients in a multi-disciplinary approach before chemotherapy or radiotherapy.
